Two nights at the movies...

Well, we went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire twice this week. The first time our mortgage company gave us free tickets for a night before preview, and the second time we had already bought our opening day tickets...so needless to say we're well versed in the fourth movie already. It's really good. If you're a fan, it won't disappoint. Laura went with us and she liked it (although she said the part with Voldemort was kind of scary - I closed her eyes during most of the graveyard scene). So, if you haven't seen it, you might want to get on it. :) Have a fun week leading up to Thanksgiving! And we'll see you on Thursday Sean!

Ciao!

Just a little Note from Newberg, Oregon

I just rhought I would write in here, now that I can see well enough to actually read and write on the computer.

If people do not know, I have a serios eye problem that has almost caused me to go blind, again. My vision is coming back, I will find out Friday if I can drive again. I think I can, but my doctor may have his own opinion.

Every body here is doing good. John is looking at finding a new job, and I am working where i have been, at the Architects.

Hope everybody is doing good.

Lazy Afternoon...

Hello familia,
Just wanted to check in and say hi! Today was a lazy day. We just sat around and rested, trying to recover from our sore throats. Even Katie's not feeling well. Not much else to report.

Hey Sean...I was wondering if you could let me know when BYU has their annual winter sale with all the discounts and stuff. It's been awhile since I was there and I can't remember when it starts anymore. Thanks!

Later all!

Laura wants...

Hola Emilia,

I was just noticing that Michael has Laura for Christmas. If you don't have anything yet, let me give you some ideas. She doesn't have any sweats. She loves princesses. Colored pencils would be a good thing too. Anything with her name on it is fun...sticky notes, hair clips, ribbons and bows, pens, cups...etc...

Hope all is going well there. Let me know how you're doing!

PS - Just noticed that Cody has Katie too...she needs 18 mo. pajamas. Maybe some sweats too. Thanks!

Thanksgiving already?

Hi! We just had Thanksgiving last night with my mom and Creon and Utah family(they'll be up in OR for the real one). I'm glad Dad and Janice get to come down this year for Turkey Day! It'll be fun to see how the Bailey's celebrate. This time was the first time I didn't overeat. Maybe making a lot of it helps in that respect? It was really good too. But I realized that I don't have a large turkey platter. And I'm woefully lacking in mixing bowls. My dish towels are the same ones I bought for college (10 years ago), for the most part, so they're in pretty bad shape (my favorite color for the kitchen is deep red). I don't know about your Costco, but ours is selling BYU sweatshirts this year. Pretty cool huh? I want one of those too.

I was talking to Jessica awhile ago and she really likes shoes and watches too. :) Ebay is her friend! I'm kind of in a random mood. The girls got sick today and were fairly quiet and laid back. Kind of a nice change from hyper and angry. They're more like me than I give them credit...of course, they look exactly like me so who can blame them.

It's really cold in my house right now. The heater has turned off for bed and I was just about to jump in when I thought I'd write a bit on the blog. If anyone knows what Sabrina would like for Christmas...please let me know! Thanks!

PS - Em, what do Aaron and Cody want/need for Christmas? I need to take the girls shopping if I want to send the presents with mom in a couple of weeks. Wait...it may be too late for that anyway. I may have to mail them either way. Oops. Just let me know, K? :)
